Stunning 27-Inch 5K Resolution
Experience exceptional detail with a native 5120 × 2880 5K resolution.
With more than 14 million pixels packed into the 27-inch display, games benefit from sharper textures, clearer environments, detailed character models, and highly defined visual effects.
The additional resolution also enhances productivity, providing excellent clarity for text, coding, web browsing, document editing, and other detail-intensive applications.
218 PPI Pixel Density
The display delivers an impressive 218 pixels per inch, producing exceptionally sharp text, UI elements, HUD information, and fine visual details.
The high pixel density makes the monitor equally capable for premium gaming and high-resolution professional desktop use.
Hyper Mini LED Technology
UltraGear evo's Hyper Mini LED technology uses 9,216 LEDs to provide precise backlight control across the display.
Combined with increased local dimming capability, the Mini-LED backlight helps produce brighter highlights, stronger contrast, and improved definition between bright and dark areas.
Zero Optical Distance Engineering
LG's Zero Optical Distance engineering positions the Mini-LED backlight closer to the panel.
This design helps reduce light bleed and minimize blooming around bright objects, supporting greater image precision and more controlled contrast.
Up to 1250 Nits Peak Brightness
The UltraGear evo 27GM950B-B reaches up to 1250 nits peak brightness, allowing HDR highlights, explosions, lighting effects, and bright environments to appear with impressive intensity.
The high brightness also helps maintain strong visual impact in brighter indoor gaming environments.
VESA DisplayHDR 1000
With VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, the monitor is designed to deliver powerful HDR performance with brilliant highlights and detailed darker scenes.
Bright effects gain greater intensity while shadows retain texture and definition, producing a more immersive experience in compatible HDR games and entertainment.
Up to 99% DCI-P3 Color Coverage
The monitor covers up to 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, delivering a broad range of rich and vibrant colors.
Combined with 5K resolution, Mini-LED technology, and DisplayHDR 1000, the wide color gamut provides an impressive visual experience across games and multimedia.
Dual Mode: 5K 165Hz or QHD 330Hz
Adapt the monitor to the type of game you're playing with VESA Certified Dual-Mode functionality.
Choose 5K at 165Hz for visually rich AAA games, cinematic adventures, and other titles where maximum image quality and detail are the priority.
Switch to QHD at up to 330Hz when competitive speed and responsiveness matter most, making it ideal for FPS, esports, racing, and other fast-paced games.
AI Upscaling Toward 5K
UltraGear evo's integrated processor powers AI Upscaling, analyzing compatible source signals and enhancing visual detail toward the monitor's 5K resolution.
This allows lower-resolution games and video content to benefit from enhanced clarity without relying exclusively on GPU-based upscaling.
NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible
NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility helps synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with compatible NVIDIA graphics hardware.
This helps reduce screen tearing and stuttering for smoother, more consistent gameplay.
AMD FreeSync Premium Pro
AMD FreeSync Premium Pro provides adaptive synchronization with compatible AMD graphics hardware while supporting high-refresh-rate and HDR gaming experiences.
Together with G-SYNC compatibility, it gives the monitor broad flexibility across high-performance gaming systems.
DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20
The LG UltraGear evo 27GM950B-B features DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20, providing the high bandwidth required for demanding high-resolution, high-refresh-rate gaming configurations.
This future-focused interface complements the monitor's combination of 5K resolution and extreme refresh rates.
USB-C with 90W Power Delivery
Connect compatible laptops and devices through USB Type-C, supporting display, data transfer, and up to 90W Power Delivery through a single connection.
This makes the monitor suitable for gaming systems as well as streamlined laptop and professional workstation setups.
