The NanoStation locoM5 from Ubiquiti is a compact, cost-effective 5 GHz airMAX CPE designed for Point-to-Point (PtP) and Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) wireless links. With a high-efficiency 13 dBi dual-polarity MIMO antenna and airOS software, it delivers stable links over 5+ km (up to ~10 km line-of-sight) with dependable throughput—ideal for WISPs, building-to-building connectivity, and last-mile access.
Built for easy deployment, the locoM5 integrates the radio and antenna into a slim, weather-resistant enclosure, powered via 24V passive PoE. Its airMAX TDMA protocol improves latency and scalability compared to standard Wi-Fi, ensuring reliable performance even in congested RF environments.
