The UniFi Switch 8 (US-8-60W) from Ubiquiti is a compact, fully managed Gigabit Layer-2 switch designed to expand UniFi networks with reliable performance and flexible PoE options. This 5-pack bundle is ideal for multi-room, branch, or distributed deployments where clean PoE-powered switching is required.
Each switch provides 8× Gigabit Ethernet ports, including 4 auto-sensing 802.3af PoE ports, delivering up to 15.4W per PoE port. With 8 Gbps non-blocking throughput, 16 Gbps switching capacity, and a 11.9 Mpps forwarding rate, the US-8-60W handles line-rate traffic without packet loss. It supports PoE passthrough, allowing the switch itself to be powered via PoE while continuing to power downstream devices—perfect for IP cameras, UniFi APs, and VoIP phones.
Management is centralized through the UniFi Network Controller, offering VLANs, port profiles, traffic monitoring, storm control, spanning tree, and 802.1X/RADIUS features—all without licensing fees.
