Product Description
Ubiquiti PowerBeam M5 Outdoor Wireless Bridge 5GHz, 25dBi | PBE-M5-400
The Ubiquiti PowerBeam M5 (PBE-M5-400) is a high-performance 5 GHz outdoor wireless bridge designed for long-range point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) links. Featuring a 25 dBi high-gain dish antenna and Ubiquiti’s InnerFeed™ integrated radio design, it delivers superior noise immunity, higher throughput, and stable connectivity even in congested RF environments.
With a narrow beamwidth and focused RF energy, the PowerBeam M5 effectively filters out interference, making it ideal for WISPs, enterprise backhaul links, surveillance networks, and rural connectivity. Integrated airMAX TDMA technology ensures low latency, high scalability, and carrier-class performance.
Key Features
5 GHz airMAX CPE / Wireless Bridge
High-Gain 25 dBi Dish Antenna (400 mm / 15.7")
Frequency Range: 5725 – 5850 MHz
InnerFeed™ Integrated Radio Design (No RF Cables)
airMAX TDMA Technology for Superior Throughput & Low Latency
Advanced Noise Immunity with Narrow Beamwidth
Gigabit Ethernet Port
Passive PoE Powered
Outdoor-Ready, UV-Stabilized Enclosure
Designed for Long-Range Links
Carrier-Class QoS for Voice & Video
Advanced Wireless Performance
Noise Immunity
The PowerBeam M5 focuses RF energy into a tight, directional beam, significantly reducing interference from nearby radios operating on the same or adjacent frequencies. This makes it highly effective in high-noise and densely populated RF environments.
airMAX TDMA Technology
Ubiquiti’s proprietary airMAX protocol uses Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) to eliminate hidden-node collisions and maximize airtime efficiency. This results in:
Lower latency
Higher throughput
Improved scalability
Stable performance for voice & video traffic
Integrated & Durable Design
InnerFeed™ Technology integrates the radio directly into the antenna feedhorn, eliminating cable losses.
Tool-efficient mounting system with built-in mechanical tilt (±20°).
GEOMET-coated fasteners and powder-coated galvanized steel for superior corrosion resistance.
Designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and extreme wind loads.
Management & Monitoring
airOS® – Advanced, user-friendly firmware with spectrum management, channel width control, ACK auto-timing, and multilingual UI.
airView® Spectrum Analyzer – Real-time RF analysis (Waterfall, Waveform, and Spectral views).
airControl® – Centralized web-based network management for large deployments.
